Ubisoft is expanding its historical fiction universe to the Apple ecosystem with the announcement that “Assassin’s Creed Mirage” will be available on the iPhone and iPad soon.
Owners of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, and the latest iPad Pro and iPad Air models sporting the M1 chip or newer can look forward to this new triple A title. Eager fans of the franchise can already express their interest as preorders are now open in the App Store.

This release signifies Apple’s commitment to enriching the gaming experience on its platforms, a trend that has seen a significant uptick over the past few months. High-profile games such as the remake of “Resident Evil 4” as well as “Resident Evil Village” arrived on iOS devices last year. Meanwhile, the critically acclaimed “Death Stranding Director’s Cut” made its debut on Apple hardware earlier this year.
As expected, some users reported that there are hiccups and struggles with touchscreen controls. However, the availability of controller support on iPhones provides a viable solution for gamers who prefer physical buttons and joysticks over touch interfaces.

For those intrigued by “Assassin’s Creed Mirage” and want to try out the gameplay before committing to purchase the full game for $49.99, Ubisoft will be offering a free 90-minute preview once the game launches on June 6th. In the Philippines, the game will be available by June 10, 2024.
