It can’t be denied that the battle royal last-man-standing genre in online games are on hype right now alongside the rise of Rules of Survival (ROS) and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG).

But after becoming the #1 most-watched game on Twitch, Epic Games announces that Fortnite Battle Royale will go mobile, both in smartphones and in tablets, ready to face the likes of ROS and PUBG.

In association with Sony, Fortnite Battle Royale will support Cross-Play and Cross Progression through PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS, and sooner or later, Android.

Noticeable that Microsoft console like Xbox is not included, bearing in mind that Sony declines to show any interest in cross-play between Xbox and PlayStation.

Starting March 12, interested people may sign-up at www.Fortnite.com for the invite event on iOS. Fortunate players will receive an email with a link where they can directly download the game. Players who will receive invites from Epic can also get a friend invite codes to share with others.

“We believe this is the future of games. The same game on all platforms. Console quality graphics and action. Play when you want, where you want,” Epic Games pointed out in their announcement.
