A new rumor about the long-anticipated sequel to the Grand Theft Auto series, the GTA 6, has emerged.

This information came from insider Tom Henderson. But unlike a lot of leaks we’ve seen before, there is some level of credibility on this as it’s been corroborated by Jason Schreier of Bloomberg.

It’s said that the upcoming follow-up to the already 8-year-old GTA V will take place in Vice City. But unlike the 2002 game, this one will be set in the modern era.

What’s cool is, the map will apparently change and expand over time, similar to Fortnite‘s.

While GTA 6 is already long overdue as it is, it looks like fans will have to wait a lot longer as the game is still, apparently, in early development and may not come out until 2024 or 2025.

The delay was apparently due to Rockstar Games‘ efforts to end the crunch culture, which was exposed as a big problem for the company not long ago.

As players wait, Rockstar Games is actively updating GTA Online with new features to keep fans entertained. It even solved the loading time issue that’s been annoying players since day one.
