Netflix announced last Wednesday that three Grand Theft Auto titles are coming to Netflix Games this December.
In a press release, Netflix said that the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition is coming to Netflix Games on December 14. This release will include the:
- Grand Theft Auto III – The Definitive Edition
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition
This means that all games will be available for free for Netflix subscribers. They can be downloaded on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and via the Netflix mobile app.
The Definitive Edition are remastered version of each game that offers visual improvements and gameplay upgrades.
Since they have been remasted to work well on mobile screens, users don’t need to use an external controller, just like on most of the ~80 games in Netflix’s gaming library.
This partnership sure is big news from Netflix, especially with all the hype surrounding the series as its latest successor, GTA VI, will finally have its first trailer in December.
