It looks like Half-Life 3 is finally happening after 20 years. Ending a decades-long wait for fans and years of memes.

A new rumor suggests the game is already “playable, end-to-end.” This could mean the game’s development is close to an end, and Valve is just putting its final touches.

In fact, the rumor also suggests that the game could be announced this summer and may arrive in winter (later this year). Yes, we may be getting Half-Life 3 before GTA VI.

This report came from Tyler McVicker during his Q&A live stream. McVicker is known for reporting Valve rumors and said that the game is already playable, possibly by game testers and devs, from beginning to end.

Previously, Valve concept artist Evgeniy Evstratiy claimed he was in the room where Half-Life 3 is being developed. Another leaker revealed that the game will be the “end of Gordon’s adventure.”

While nothing is official yet, they are still a good sign that Half-Life 3 is still happening. Still, all we can do is sit and wait.
