The highly anticipated successor to Nintendo’s first handheld console is finally coming to the Philippines. Pricing for the new Nintendo Switch 2 has been detailed, as well as pre-order details from other retailers.

After the official debut in January, the Nintendo Switch 2 was fully unveiled in early April. It’s now bigger than the first switch, offering a larger kickstand, an upgraded 7.9-inch IPS display with a smoother 120Hz refresh rate, and support for HDR10.

It now has two USB-C ports with an improved video output of up to 4K@60Hz or 120Hz at 1080p/1440p. The stereo speakers have also improved, as well as the chipset and the battery. A new GameChat feature and dedicated button have also been introduced.

Nintendo made bigger enhancements to the new Joy-Con 2 with a new design, shoulder triggers, and now doubles as a mouse. They also introduced new accessories like an external camera and controller.

As for the pricing, Nintendo’s Shopee Mall confirms that the Nintendo Switch 2 console has an SRP of Php31,990 and the Mario Kart World Bundle will retail for Php35,500. It will be officially available on June 26.

The game is also available for pre-order on Data Blitz and GameXtreme with a Php5,000 downpayment.

All accessories are also available for pre-order. That includes the Switch 2 Carrying Case and Screen Protector, external Camera, Joy-Con Wheel (Set of 2), Joy-Con Charging Grip, Joy-Con (Light Red, Light Blue, or as a set), and Pro Controller. Official local SRPs for these accessories should be unveiled soon.
