Professional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang player Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso became one of the players suspended by the league for violating its rules.

Apparently, Z4pnu, an Execration veteran, made a gambling-related post on social media that’s related to gambling, leading to the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) suspending him.

This means that the pro player can not participate in two season 7 matches — a battle between the Execration team and the Blacklist International that happened on March 26, and against Bren Esports on March 28. The pro player announced the suspension on his vlog.

Apparently, Z4pnu posted on his personal Facebook page offering a Php200,000 wager on the upcoming Nexplay vs. Bren Esport game. The posts have been deleted.

Z4pnu appears to have accepted the verdict saying that he’s aware that gambling is really prohibited and added that “I’ve been doing that for a long time, it is probably just stricter now.”

Besides Z4pnu, MPL PH has also warned and punished other players and staff for violating its rules, saying that any violations will not be tolerated. You can read their full statement below.

  1. In fact, the only problem is that the guy did not understand the policy of his organization regarding gambling. In itself, the mention of such projects has nothing wrong. Some people spend more money in Mobile Legends than people in casinos
