For health and other purposes, you can use the electronic certificate called VaxCertPH as proof that you’ve been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Based on technical specifications published by the World Health Organization, VaxCertPH is a digital vaccination certificate developed by the Department of Information and Communications Technology.

Per DICT Secretary Gregorio Honasan II, VaxCertPH will simplify vaccination certification while complying with international standards. The DICT has already been developing VaxCertPH with the Department of Health even before WHO released its final specs.

But for VaxCertPH to work, Honasan explained that complete and accurate data must be provided by local government units via the Vaccine Information Management System (VIMS). LGUs must submit their line list to the DICT Vaccine Administration System so that VaxCertPH has access to reliable data.

VaxCertPH is expected to become available in the coming weeks as a web portal and mobile app. But before it can go live, the system requires LGU operators to be fully trained.
