A few months ago, the National Telecommunications Commission named Mislatel the third major telecommunications player in the country.
Surprisingly, Mislatel announced on the 9th of January that they are open to partnerships even with its competitors Globe Telecom, Smart, and PLDT, Inc.
Atty. Adel Tamano, Mislatel’s spokeperson, clarified that this offer is not to reduce competition but will actually boost revenues of the existing telcos.
Additional to this, partnership can be extended in the form of sharing cell sites and domestic roaming, even using the partner’s network in case its own network is not yet available.
“Pareho naman ang vision namin which is to provide the best world-class internet and telco services for Filipinos,” Tamano told DZMM radio.
Tamano also added that the Mislatel is also communicating with local government units and the national government to speed up their plan to roll out.
