ASUS just released two new Chromebooks that are rugged and made for students, the CR1 and Flip CR1.
The new ASUS Chromebook CR1 and Flip CR1 come with MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability with a spill-resistant keyboard and all-around rubber bumper. These machines went through drop tests, panel pressure tests, and more. They also come with a 12-hour battery life and fat charging support.

Made for students, the Flip CR1 comes with a stylus for students to write notes or express their creativity.
The Flip CR1 also lets you use it like a tablet with its 360-degree hinge, while the CR1 has a 180-degree angle so you can lay it flat on a table for easy content sharing.

To protect kids, these laptops come with antibacterial protection and low blue-light emission. Of course, the Chromebook platform gives students and educators access to Google apps made for Education.
The duo also has 8-megapixel webcams, WiFi 6, and 4G LTE (optional). For ports, they have USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, a microSD card reader, and a Kensington lock.

Poised as a great investment, ASUS boasts that both models come with an easy-to-maintain design so you can do maintenance, repair, or possibly do upgrades in the future.
The official price and availability details for the new ASUS Chromebook CR1 and Flip CR1 are yet to be announced, so stay tuned for that.
