be ASUS just announced what could probably the new holy grail of mobile PC gaming. One of their flagship laptops, the ROG Chimera has been updated with a faster processor from Intel.

The newly announced Intel 8th-gen mobile processors now include a Core i9 chip in its line-up, probably the most ludicrous chip that you can find on any laptop today.

All of the four new ASUS ROG Chimera laptops will be powered by an Intel 8th-Gen Core i9 processors. They will also come with an NVIDIA GTX 1070 and 1080 GPUs, a 144Hz display and a minimum of 32GB of RAM.

The ROG Chimera will still be rocking that same bulky design, which is expected for a machine with such power. This thing uses four large vents to keep all those demanding hardware cool.

The updated ASUS ROG Chimera, together with the other new ASUS gaming machines, will be available starting April 17. However, ASUS hasn’t revealed the official pricing for the Chimera just yet, but we expect it to begin at around Php200k and up.
