Huawei just introduced a brand new laptop, the MateBook 14s, and it’s coming to the Philippines.
The main highlight of the Huawei MateBook 14s is its sharp and fast display. This one has a 2.5K pixel resolution with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. But for better battery life and performance, you can enter the Performance Mode and drop it to 60Hz by simply pressing Fn+R keys.
It also has thin bezels for a 90% screen-to-body ratio, a document-friendly 3:2 aspect ratio, and TUV Rheinland certification for low blue light and flicker-free. It can also automatically adjust the brightness thanks to the ambient sensors.
You can also use compatible tablets as a secondary screen via the Extend Mode feature. Since it’s a Huawei device, it can pair seamlessly with other Huawei products like the FreeBuds Pro.
For audio, Huawei rigged it with four speakers. It can also pick up your voice with clarity thanks to its quad microphone array and Personal Voice Enhancement function, perfect for video conferences.
You can get the MateBook 14s with up to an 11th-Gen Intel Core i7-11370H processor, with 16GB of RAM, and Intel Iris X Graphics.
It comes with a 60Wh battery and a 65W USB Type-C power adapter that can also be used on smartphones and tablets.
Huawei crammed all those specs and features in a sleek, aluminum-alloy body that’s about 1.43kg.
The Huawei MateBook 14s has a starting price of Php68,999 for the i5-11300H/8GB/512GB model and Php89,999 for the i7-11370H/16GB/1TB variant. The Spruce Green color is only available for the base model, while the Space Grey is available on both. For a limited time, you can get them with a free FreeBuds Pro (Php7,999) and Microsoft 365 (Php3,499).
