Huawei just announced a couple of new non-smartphone products. Two of them belong to the brand’s laptop line-up, the MateBook 16s and D 16.

The most interesting of the two is the Huawei MateBook 16s, which is currently one of the brand’s flagship laptops. It has tons of similarities over last year’s MateBook 16, only this time, it’s powered by the latest 12th gen Intel CPUs with an option between a Core i7 or i9 chip.

For graphics, we have the trusty Intel Iris Xe. It also boasts a generous 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB or 1TB of NVMe PCIe storage. The battery is rated at 83Wh paired with a 135W power adapter.

On the front, we have an attractive 16-inch touchscreen display with ultra-thin bezels. It has a 2520 x 1680 pixel resolution, with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 100% sRGB coverage, and has been calibrated with an average Delta-E <.

The Huawei MateBook 16s has an SRP of EUR1,299 (around Php75,100) and EUR1,499 (around Php86,700) for the Intel Core i7 and i9 models, respectively. Those who will get the i7 variant from July 13 and 23 will take home MateBiew GT 27 monitor, while i9 buyers from July 13 and 26 get a free MateView monitor.
