Razer has released its biggest, most powerful laptop to date. Meet the Razer Blade 18 2024, and it sports an array of high-end specs like the newest Intel Core i9 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU, and even the latest Thunderbolt standard.

As the name suggests, the Razer Blade 18 2024 has a gigantic 18-inch display, which you can get in three configurations: a mini LED panel with a QHD+ resolution and 300Hz refresh rate, a regular LCD at QHD+ with 240Hz, and a first for an 18-inch laptop: 4K resolution at 200Hz.

The mini LED version gets brighter at 1000 nits (vs 400 nits) and has 2K+ Dimming Zones with local On/Off control. But, whichever you use, you’re getting a screen that has 100% DCI-P3 color, <3.0ms response time, G-Sync support, factory calibrated, and has been Calman verified

Powering the display is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPU, with the base model sporting an 8GB RTX 4060 chip while the top tier has a whopping 16GB GDDR6 RTX 4090 card. The Blade 18 is also considered an NVIDIA Studio laptop, which meant it was tested and validated for content creators.

You then have two chipset options: the latest 14th-gen Intel Core i9-14900HX, or last year’s 13th-gen Intel Core i9-13950HX. You can pair it with up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 4TB of M.2 NVMe SSD.

Thanks to the large frame, the Blade 18 has a beefy cooling system. There are three fans, with one of them cooling the battery.

Another big feature is the Thunderbolt 5 port, making the Blade 18 the first laptop to have it. It offers up to 120Gbps of speed to support multiple external monitors, fast storage, and more.

Razer included a sharp 5-megapixel webcam with IR for Windows Hello, has mechanical privacy filter, and a mic array for clearer video calls. Razer is also highlighting its compact GAN charger that’s 60% smaller than traditional chargers.
