Along with the global introduction of the GT 2 series, Realme wrapped up its MWC 2022 event with the introduction of a laptop and TWS earphones. Check out the new Realme Book Prime and Buds Air 2.
The fast-growing tech brand expands its laptop portfolio with the Realme Book Prime. On the outside, this machine looks identical to the company’s first laptop, other than the introduction of the new Real Green color option.
Under the hood, it’s powered by the new 11th-Gen Intel Core i5-11320H quad-core CPU, with a 35W TDP that can provide a 4.5GHz single-core turbo frequency. It also boasts 8 threads, 8MB L3 cache, and an Intel Iris Xe GPU for graphics.
Realme has also upped the thermal management with the improved dual-fan cooling system, which can dissipate the heat 50% better which also results in performance boosts.
The rest of the specs are identical. It still has a 14.2-inch IPS screen with a 3:2 aspect ratio, perfect for multitasking. There’s also the 54Wh battery juiced by a 65W USB Type-C adapter.
Available soon, the Realme Book Prime starts at EUR999 (around Php57,500) for the 8GB/512GB variant, while getting twice the RAM capacity (16GB/512GB) will cost you EUR1,099 (around Php63,200).
Meanwhile, the new Realme Buds 3 will feature hybrid ANC that can eliminate up to 42dB of ambient noise. The sound is provided by the 10mm dynamic drivers, paired with Dolby Audio.
Transparency and 88ms super-low latency modes are also present. Plus, IPX5 sweat and water-resistant rating if you want to do workouts with it. It can last for a total of 30 hours of music playback with the help of its pebble-shaped charging case. A quick 10-minute charge can already provide an hour and a half of listening time.
Realme also boasts that it’s the world’s first TUV Rheinland-certified noise-canceling earbuds. It can also simultaneously be connected to up to 2 devices for more seamless switching.
The Realme Buds Air 3 will be available for a price of EUR59.99 (around Php3,400) and will come in Galaxy White and Starry Blue colors.
