Alongside the release of their new mobile devices and accessories, Xiaomi also announced the new RedmiBook Pro 2022 Ryzen Edition.
The new RedmiBook Pro 2022 Ryzen Edition comes in two flavors: there’s a 14-inch model with a 2.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate for speed; and a 15-inch variant with a slower 90Hz refresh rate but a sharper 3.5K pixel resolution. Both variants will share the same series-6 aviation aluminum metal build.
Since these are the Ryzen Edition, buyers can choose between the AMD Ryzen R5 6600H and R7 6800H CPU. They also come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The bigger model can also be had NVIDIA RTX 2050 GPU.
But if you don’t plan on gaming seriously, both variants can also be had with only AMD’s Radeon 660M graphics. Keeping things cool are the dual fans with two large heat pipes.
For ports, both 2022 models will come with Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-A, and full-sized HDMI 2.0.
Xiaomi also rigged both devices with WiFi 6 connectivity and a 720p webcam for uninterrupted and high-quality video calls. Each corner of the laptop have 2W speakers for better audio and audible stereo separation.
The 14-inch RedmiBook Pro 2022 Ryzen 5 retails for CNY4,499 (around Php35,300) while the Ryzen 7 variant is at CNY5,099 (around Php39,900).
The bigger 15-inch model has a price of CNY4,699 (around Php36,800) and CNY5,299 (around Php41,500) for each CPU option, respectively. The 15-inch with RTX 2050, with the same CPU options, will retail for CNY5,899 (around Php43,900) and CNY6,499 (around Php50,900), respectively.
