Samsung has just released a new high-end laptop that leans heavily into artificial intelligence.

The new Samsung Galaxy Book6 Edge runs on Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon X2 Elite chip, which means its built to be energy efficient while still handling demanding tasks. Samsung says the battery life should hold up well even when users run AI-powered tools.

One of the main selling points is how the laptop works with other Samsung devices. If you own a Galaxy phone, you can move files between devices, answer calls, or pick up where you left off on a document without much hassle. Features like Quick Share and Multi Control are designed to make the experience feel connected rather than clunky.

The screen measures 16-inches, but the laptop itself stays thin and light. Samsung is not positioning this as a device for hardcore gamers or video editors. Instead, the company sees it as a daily work companion for people who need to get things done on the go.

What makes this launch interesting is what it says about Samsung’s bigger plans. The company is betting on Windows laptops that run on ARM-based chips, which are different from the traditional Intel or AMD processors found in most PCs. However, we still expect them to build those kind of laptops along with this new Snapdragon-powered machine.

The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Edge’s price starts at $2,099.99 (~Php126,000).
