Apart from the Redmi Note 12 series, Xiaomi has also launched a new sleek and portable laptop, the Xiaomi Book Air 13.
The Xiaomi Book Air 13 is powered by the latest 12th-Gen Intel CPUs. You can get it with either a Core i5-1230U or i7-1250U CPU. Both variants will come with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM at 5200MHz and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. It is part of the Intel Evo platform.

As the name suggests, it has a 13.3-inch touchscreen with a 2880 x 1800 pixel resolution at a 16:10 aspect ratio. It’s attached to the main chassis via a 360-degree hinge so you can use it like a tablet.
The display itself also has Dolby Vision, HDR 500 technology, and DC dimming with 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Stereo speakers powered by Dolby Atmos are also onboard.

Connectivity and ports are not the most flexible considering the size. Still, it managed to have two powerful USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports. The other one is a 3.5mm headphone port for external audio.
Xiaomi crammed all those hardware inside a machine that is only 12mm thick and weighs 1.2kg and is only available in White with Gold trims.

The Xiaomi Book Air 13 has a starting price of CNY5,999 (around Php48,000) for the i5-1230U model while the i7-1250U is at CNY6,999 (around Php56,000). They are available in China and yet to be confirmed if also coming in markets like the Philippines.
