Shopee – the leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan – brings everyone its biggest annual regional shopping event, Shopee 9.9 Super Shopping Day.

Starting the 30th of August to September 9th, over 500,000 sellers across 800 brands and more than 60 partners onboard will participate and offer users up to 99% off from largest collection of deals and massive giveaways worth over Php15 Million.

Shopee users can partake in the 11-day shopping marathon with different themes every day, back-to-back every 24 hours. Users can look forward to free shipping with lowered minimum spend. Key highlights of Shopee 9.9 Super Shopping Day includes Super Flash Sale Day on August 30 and Super Vouchers Day on September 3 with a total of Php900, 000 worth of vouchers to be redeemed.

For the first time, Shopee will launch Super Brand Festival together with hundreds of leading brands including giants P&G, Maybelline, Samsung, Vivo, Colgate – Palmolive, Oppo, Asus, and more, to offer first-hand access to thousands of products.



Super Shopping Day will be co-presented by more than 60 partners including Grab, Cebu Pacific, BPI, SM Advantage, ABS-CBN Publishing, and ABS-CBN Store. Grab will be giving Php9, 000 worth of Grab rides to each of 99 lucky Shopee users while Cebu Pacific will be giving away round trip tickets to Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Kota, Kinabalu, Bali, and Siem Reap.

In line with this, the e-commerce giant’s in-app game – Shopee Handshake – is making a comeback with new group mode where users across the region can invite others to play at the same time to earn bonus coins.

Shopee will also be launching a dance competition called Shopee Dance to Win with prizes including an Ace 50” TV and up to ₱100,000 in cash to be won.

For those who want to join, users need to post a video of themselves doing the Shopee Dance on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #ShopeeDancePH. The contest will run from 31 August till the end of Shopee 9.9 Super Shopping Day. Winners will be announced on Shopee’s social media pages on 9 September.

On last year’s 9.9 event, Shopee has earned three-fold uplift in orders and a five-time increase in traffic.
