Bringing up the rear of Cherry Mobile’s smartphone announcement today is the Cherry Mobile Flare 4. For Php4,999, it offers significant hardware upgrades over its predecessor Flare 3.

The changes are aplenty. For one, the Flare 4 has an octa-core processor, HD resolution, 13-megapixel main camera and 16GB of internal storage. The Flare 3 of last year only has a quad-core processor, qHD resolution, 8-megapixel main camera and 8GB of internal storage. In addition, the Flare 4 has 4G LTE connectivity and 2GB RAM, whereas the Flare 3 only has HSPA+ and 1GB RAM.

Other specs of the Cherry Mobile Flare 4 include a 5-megapixel selfie camera, microSD expansion up to 32GB, dual SIM configuration and a 2100mAh battery.
