It’s not just the Flare series to which Cherry Mobile has added a new entry in the form of the Flare Selfie (and, to some extent, the Flare X refresh). The local mobile company has also introduced two new smartphones to the Omega series, one of which is the Cherry Mobile Omega HD 3.

As the name implies, this device is the direct successor to 2013’s Omega HD 2.0 (although there have been interim variant releases under the series, such as the Omega Icon, Omega Aeon and Omega Lite). Some of the improvements the phone brings include a faster processor and larger onboard storage. The screen size and resolution remain the same. Oddly, the Omega HD 3 has a main camera with a lower resolution at 8 megapixels (down from 12), but we hope it uses a better sensor to deliver better pictures overall.
