Because the One (M8) can be a tad too big a phone to some users, the HTC One mini 2 is born. It’s got many of the same specs that its big brother has, but of course in a smaller form.
As the newest member of the One family, the HTC One mini 2 comes with several features we’ve come to love with the HTC’s high-end smartphones. For one, it offers BoomSound technology despite its compact form, delivering high-quality sound via the dual speakers on its front. For another, this handset has the latest HTC user interface, the Sense 6, which also means the presence of the news-aggregating BlinkFeed.
And then the innards: the HTC One mini 2 is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. There’s 1GB of RAM onboard, along with Adreno 305 graphics and 16GB internal storage, with microSD support up to 128GB. Connectivity options are the usual stuff: GPS and GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n, and 4G LTE. The phone may not be a performance brute like the HTC One (M8), but these specs are decent enough for the demands of today’s apps.
