HUAWEI, known for creating high-quality camera smartphones, has recently fallen out of the spotlight in smartphone market due to restrictions imposed by the United States. D
Despite this setback, the company’s P60 series flagship phones have received acclaim for their advanced camera technology, rivaling some of the top competitors in the field like Samsung, OPPO, and Apple. Over the years, the HUAWEI P-series has seen considerable success, yet in a surprising move, HUAWEI has decided to discontinue the P-series name. The latest models will now be introduced under the new “HUAWEI Pura 70” series.
The announcement of the rebranding came via HUAWEI’s official Weibo account, where they revealed that the P-series had been “upgraded” to the Pura line, signifying a fresh direction for the company’s flagship devices. Additionally, HUAWEI confirmed that future products would maintain the “70” numbering convention.

According to information from the leaker Digital Chat Station, HUAWEI might be developing as many as four different models within this new series. These are expected to include: HUAWEI Pura 70, 70 Pro, 70 Pro+, and 70 Ultra.
Retailers in China have reportedly started receiving various configurations of these new devices. The base model, the HUAWEI Pura 70, has been seen with specifications that include 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The Pro variant will allegedly come with an option that extends storage capacity up to 1TB.
For those seeking even more power, the Pro Plus is said to offer a higher-tier option with 16GB of RAM. The Ultra variant appears to come with a single storage option of 1TB. It should be noted that these configurations may not represent the full range of options that will be available. And since this is only a leak and rumor, take it with a grain of salt for now.
