Lenovo has announced its next-gen S-series of smartphones that blend style and performance. Leading the pack is the Lenovo S860, which is equipped with a whopping 4000mAh battery for an “all-day, uninterrupted usage.”

As the high-end frontrunner in the series, the Lenovo S860 offers a 5.3-inch capacitive touchscreen with 5-point multi-touch and 720p resolution. A quad-core MediaTek 6582 processor powers the device, along with a Mali 400MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM, encased by an attractive brushed metal exterior.

Areas where the dual-SIM capable Lenovo S860 lacks are in data storage (only 16GB is available with no external expansion), data connectivity (4G LTE would’ve been nice), and OS version (though an update to 4.4 KitKat is promised). All those deficiencies can be forgiven since the device makes up for them by lasting up to 24 hours on 3G connections with its removable battery. As with other Lenovo devices, the Lenovo S860 will come with the standard suite of DOit apps, including SNAPit for camera filters and photo post-processing.

The Philippines is scheduled to receive the Lenovo S860 sometime in June for around Php15,500 (tax excluded).
