Micromax has taken the wraps off of its latest addition to its smartphone portfolio. The Micromax Canvas Power A96 is a 5-inch smartphone powerhouse with its 4000mAh battery capacity.
Indeed, the key spec to take down from the Micromax Canvas Power A96 is the battery, which gives the device around 450 hours of standby time. For Rs. 9,900 (around Php7,100 in today’s exchange), this device also features a quad-core MediaTek processor, 512MB of RAM, and Mali 400MP2 GPU. The 5-inch screen comes with a FWVGA resolution and 196ppi pixel density.
Micromax Canvas Power A96 Specs

- 5-inch TFT LCD (480×854 FWVGA), ~196ppi
- 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6582M processor

Though the India-based Micromax company doesn’t have a market here in the Philippines, their smartphones usually get rebranded as MyPhone units. So if the latter does reveal a new phone with a 4000mAh battery capacity, it’s probably the Micromax Canvas Power A96.
Update: It turns out Cherry Mobile will be selling this device in the Philippines as the Cherry Mobile Fuze.
