O+ USA asks why you have to choose when you can have both a laptop and tablet in one device. It’s a rhetorical question, because the company’s new O+ Convertible lets your experience the best of both worlds.
The name O+ Convertible speaks for itself. It’s a 2-in-1 device that can be used in either laptop or tablet configuration depending on whether it’s docked to the included keyboard or not. And since it runs on Windows 8.1 OS, this is a full-fledged laptop that can be used for work and productivity.
The O+ Convertible seems to be a decent product in regard to its hardware. It offers an 11.6-inch HD display with 10-point multi-touch capability. The tablet component has a 32GB internal memory and an additional 500GB space when it’s connected to the keyboard. A quad-core Intel Atom processor runs under the hood along with 2GB of RAM. The specs are almost identical to the Cherry Mobile Alpha Shift (Php14,499), but the O+ Convertible has a larger display.

UPDATE: Here’s our full review of O+ Convertible!
The product description only mentioned 6400mAh battery. That’s sufficient enough for a tablet, but we’re hoping there’s a built-in battery in the keyboard dock that O+ USA has forgotten to mention. The O+ Convertible has a Php15,995 selling price.
