Technology market analytics firm Canalys have released the list of top smartphone vendors for 2022 in the Philippines. The rankings are based on sell-in shipments.

Realme is still at number one, owning 21% of the market, despite experiencing a -14% annual decline. In 2021, Realme topped the list with a 23% market share. During the last quarter of 2022, Realme continued to dominate by selling the most phones.

The company that pulled impressive figures is Transsion, which is the company behind Infinix and TECNO Mobile. With the help of the two brands, the company was able to pull an impressive +89% market growth — the biggest growth on the list. Still, with an 18% market share, it stays at number 2.

Transsion was able to beat big names like OPPO, who only managed to get a 15% market share with a -1% growth. That’s despite an impressive Q4 performance.

Samsung also took a growth decline at -5% as it only owned 13% of the market.

Xiaomi managed to make it to the top 5 rankings with a 12% market share with a positive 1% growth.
