Samsung is gearing up to launch its next flagship phone, the Galaxy S24, in early 2024. The Galaxy S24 series is expected to include three models: the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24 Plus, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Design and Display
The Galaxy S24 series is rumored to feature a new design with a titanium body, which would make it more durable and premium than the aluminum or glass body of the previous models. The Galaxy S24 Ultra could also have a flat screen, instead of the curved edge screen that has been a signature of the Galaxy S series for years.
The display size and resolution of the Galaxy S24 series are not yet known, but we can expect them to be similar to or sharper than the Galaxy S23 series, which had 6.2-inch, 6.7-inch, and 6.8-inch screens with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Specs and Features
The upcoming Samsung flagship series is likely to be powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset, which is Samsung’s own processor that will feature AMD graphics. The Exynos 2400 is expected to offer better performance and efficiency than the Exynos 2100 that powered the Galaxy S23 series in some regions. In other regions, such as the US and China, the Galaxy S24 series could use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that powered the Galaxy S23 series in those regions.

It is expected to run on Android 14 out of the box, with Samsung’s One UI 6.0 on top. The Galaxy S24 series could also feature an Instagram camera shortcut on the lock screen, which would allow users to quickly access the Instagram app and take photos or videos with the Galaxy S24’s camera.

According to various sources, the Galaxy S24 series could be announced on January 17, 2024, at an event in San Francisco, USA. This would be earlier than the usual February launch window for the Galaxy S series. The reason for the earlier launch could be to gain an edge over the competition, especially the iPhone 16, which is likely to launch in September 2024.
The pricing of the Galaxy S24 series is not yet confirmed, but we can expect it to be similar to or higher than the Galaxy S23 series, which started at $799.99 / £849 / AU$1,349 for the Galaxy S23, $999.99/ £1,049 / AU$1,649 for the Galaxy S23 Plus, and $1,199.99 / £1,249 / AU$1,949 for the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
