OnePlus has started rolling out the stable Oxygen OS 14 update for the OnePlus 11 in India, with other regions expected to receive the update soon. The update will initially be available to beta testers who participated in the closed and open beta programs before being rolled out to regular OnePlus 11 users still on Android 13.

To ensure a smooth update process, OnePlus advises users to ensure that their phone’s battery level is above 30% and that they have at least 5GB of storage space available. The update brings several new features and improvements to the OnePlus 11. One notable addition is Fluid Cloud, which allows users to view up-to-date information at a glance through morphing forms. Cross-device support for Fluid Cloud has also been introduced, enabling users to check the connection status of devices on their account with ease.

Furthermore, the update introduces File Dock, a feature that facilitates easy content transfer between apps and devices through drag-and-drop functionality. Content Extraction has also been added, enabling users to extract text and images from the screen with a single tap. Additionally, Smart Cutout allows for the separation of multiple subjects in a photo from the background, enhancing copy and sharing capabilities.

Improvements have also been made in terms of cross-device connectivity, with the addition of more widget recommendations on Shelf. Security and privacy have been enhanced through improved photo and video-related permission management for safer access by apps. Performance optimization has been prioritized as well, resulting in improved system stability, faster app launch speeds, and smoother animations.

The update also brings aesthetic enhancements with the Aquamorphic Design upgrade. The color style has been refined to provide a more comfortable visual experience, and Aquamorphic-themed ringtones and system notification sounds have been added. System animations have been further enhanced, delivering even smoother transitions. Additionally, User Care has introduced a carbon tracking always-on display (AOD) feature, enabling the visualization of carbon emissions avoided by choosing to walk instead of driving.
