In just three weeks, the next Samsung flagship smartphones will be unveiled. You don’t have to wait until February 21, though, because a set of renders already claims to show what the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge look like. Check them out here.
If these renders are legitimate, then the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge uses the same design language as their predecessors, the S6 and S6 Edge. The S7 Edge, however, will apparently have a larger display at 5.5 inches diagonal. Apart from that, anyone with a keen eye for detail will notice only a few minor changes to the exterior.
On the other hand, the internal changes are significant. Reports are suggesting the inclusion of a microSD card slot and bigger battery capacities. Depending on the target market, the smartphones are rumored to utilize either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Samsung Exynos 8 Octa processor. Although the renders suggest otherwise, the smartphones also feature USB Type-C ports. Other reported improvements include better cameras, water resistance and a hefty 4GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are expected to make an official appearance at the Mobile World Congress 2016 later this month. The smartphones are slated for release on March 11.
