Xiaomi Mi Note

Of the two, the Xiaomi Mi Note is clearly the superior smartphone. It sports a faster processor and graphics chip. Users wanting a bigger screen real estate will find it in the Mi Note. That, and it still managed to be thinner and lighter too.

But as always, it boils down to availability – which Xiaomi is having a hard time with. It’s also important to note that the Note is more expensive. In fact, it’s almost 2X  the price of the Zenfone.

According to the company’s official Facebook page, it will be available in the Philippines Q2 of 2015.

Asus ZenFone 2

The ZenFone 2 doesn’t fall too far behind in terms of performance, thanks to its decent Atom CPU. It also has more RAM and microSD support and runs a more recent version of Android. With 5-megapixel resolution and the Selfie Panorama feature, the ZenFone 2 also boasts a better front-camera. For $199 starting price, the ZenFone 2 is a cheap entry to a great Android experience. Just like its first generation, the Zenfone line focuses on value for money and they’re continuing the trend this year.

For me Lamang si MI note sa Ui,support, design, battery etc.

    2. Baka naman po optimization sa apps ibig mo sabihin :P so far zenfone ok naman meron kunting crashes here and there pero not all nakaka experience naman ng crashes. batt life lang ang kulang sa zenfone eh….

Yung MiUi kasi is a heavily modified version of Android na pinipilit magmukhang iOS.

  3. There are two variants of Zenfone. The more expensive one is somehow of the same price as to Xiaomi’s. They should have put the price of the more expensive Zenfone in order to have a better comparison.

  4. Interesting… Comparing two phones under different price ranges, with the other one worth almost double that of the other. Better find a more appropriate phone to compare with.

      1. Magkalapit sila nung 4GB variant ~$350-400 siguro.

Please update the post to reflect the estimate on the pricing of the 4GB model para hindi na malito ang mga readers

        1. There’s no official price for the 4GB model yet, but it could be within the price range you specified.

  5. mas ok nman talaga xiaomi note kaso mas mahal at prublema s availability nationwide and claiming warranty. hndi mo basta2 nakikita at nabibili s mall kung gusto mo nang bumili, zenfone2 s still the easier option.. cheaper and readily available anytime

  6. I saw an FB post from someone in Mi that they will make the Mi Note available in the Philippines. Kaso I’d still go with Asus. I was impressed with their service nung pinawarranty ko phone ko.

  7. Yeah Zenfone 2 is my bet. Don’t think it falls behind in terms of performance.
My Zenfone 5 performs impressively, so what more with this new and upgraded specs
