Things in common with the Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Meizu m1 are the preinstalled operating system and connectivity options. For the same amount of RAM and internal storage, both also have the same price of CNY 699 (approx. Php4,935).

Between the two, the Redmi 2 (pictured above) offers a better display in terms of pixel density. It also boasts dual SIM configuration. Should the 8GB internal storage isn’t enough, there’s a 16GB model too. On the other hand, the m1 (pictured below) employs a MediaTek chip. While both it and the Snapdragon 410 are based on Cortex-A53 architecture, the MT6732 is clocked higher and therefore faster. In addition, the m1 is lighter, slimmer and offers better cameras.

The identical price makes it apt to compare these two phones. So which phone gives users more bang for the buck? The Meizu m1 looks like the winner based on specs. But as we wait for official reviews, what do you think?
