X (Twitter) has experienced issues with posts published before December 2014 that contain images or hyperlinks converted using its own built-in URL shortened. It’s not clear when the problem started, but a couple of high-profile users have put a spotlight on the problem.
By Monday, X’s official support account said that they have already “fixed the bug, and the issue will be fully resolved in the coming days.”

The post instantly became the “most retweeted ever” with over 2.8 million shares as of today. The said post has already been restored around Saturday night.
