Nowadays, technology has become so advanced that even Artificial Intelligence (AI) is made even more impressive by making it work for unique use cases.
Check out this recent innovation by Stanford University students who developed a pair of glasses that lets its wearer know the answer to given situations. For example, you are nervous during your first date and haven’t precisely rehearsed how to start a conversation with your partner. There is no more need to panic because these glasses can dictate what you should say.
One of the students, Bryan Hau-Ping Chiang, states that the glasses ‘listen in’ on the conversation and then let the user know what to say in a scenario. Chiang posted a demonstration video of the AI glasses on Twitter. In the video, it is showed that the glasses can interpret the question and display an answer on the lens itself.

The glasses use GPT-4, OpenAI’s Whisper, and Monocle AR glasses from Brilliant Labs. Other features of the glasses include a microphone, a high-resolution display, and a camera.
Dubbed as RizzGPT, the AI glasses communicates through Bluetooth paired with a web application on the user’s device. The audio is converted into text when the user engages in conversation. Afterward, OpenAI’s Whisper allows the glasses to provide the conversation to the chatbot, which will then suggest possible responses to the wearer.
The AI-powered glasses also work via Wi-Fi, and the only downside is the delay in dictating a response if the internet is too slow, because transcription speed depends on the strength of the Wi-Fi.
