A new report from password manager NordPass has revealed the most common passwords in 2021. To no one’s surprise, the most common password is 123456.
Other common passwords include qwerty, computer, and iloveyou. Many are slight variations of the aforementioned, which means they’re also fairly easy to guess: 123123, qwerty123, and password1.
NordPass, in collaboration with other security firms, compiled the list after analyzing a 4TB database of user accounts from 50 different countries. For 123456, as many as 103 million accounts were found using it as a password.
