Snap, Inc., the camera-centric company behind the Snapchat app and Spectacles smartglasses, has unveiled its latest product: the pocked-size Pixy drone that’s basically a flying camera for taking selfies.

The Pixy is being marketed as a free-flying adventure companion. There are no controls; you simply select a preset flight path (hover, orbit, follow, or reveal) using a dial. When it’s ready, Pixy will take off, capture photos and videos per the selected flight path, and land back in the palm of your hand.

As flights are taxing to the battery, the Pixy can only make up to eight flights on the default flight modes, with each flight up to 60 seconds long. Its camera can capture 2.7K videos and 12-megapixel photos, which you can review and edit on your phone using Snapchat.

Snap Pixy is currently available in the US and France with an official price of $229.99 (approx. ₱12,100.00).
