Filipinos Viber users are in for a treat as the popular messaging app is now offering 30 minutes of outgoing calls to landline and mobile numbers every month.

Previously locked in the $5.99/month Viber Out premium service, this will help people to stay connected to their loved ones, even to those without internet connection.

But it’s not only limited to the Philippines, as Viber supports a total of 60 countries around the globe.

30 minutes may not sound much, but it will definitely a lot of people during emergency situations and times when they don’t have mobile data.

PH will be among the first to get the freebie, along with other countries like Singapore, Hong Kong, and Kuwait. It will roll out in other regions at a later date.
