vivo’s 3 on 3 Basketball Challenge grand final is finally happening on November 18 to 19 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. Players from six (6) participating colleges and universities will compete for the championship.

To foster stronger connections with students, vivo Philippines has organized the 3 on 3 basketball tournament. This is also part of the brand’s support for basketball, in accordance with its partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Here’s a quick summary of what happened so far and what’s coming up.

The vivo 3 on 3 Basketball Challenge started with the Lyceum of the Philippines University, with additional stops held at National University, University of the Philippines – Diliman, Jose Rizal University, De La Salle University – Manila, and De La Salle – College of St. Benilde.

There’s no denying that Filipinos love basketball, so it’s no surprise that students eagerly signed up and participated. More than 80 students registered from each educational institution.

The participating universities chose 24 students and formed 6 teams. To get a spot in the grand finals, the teams competed on the court and showcased their talents.

With only 3 days left until the vivo 3 on 3 Basketball Challenge Grand Finals, all members of the participating teams are focused on preparing and practicing.

Motivated by the goal of winning the championship, every practice is an important step toward becoming better and improving teamwork.
