Like most businesses brought to a halt due to the plague that is the coronavirus, Airbnb manages to find a way to cope and keep their customers entertained through virtual amusements.

Airbnb is an online platform for rental accommodations, and with people being asked to stay at home, the company still found a way to entertain people. They do this by offering a wide range of (online) activities such as classes or tours of cities around the world.

Known simply as ‘Online Experiences’, the company posted on their newsroom that these experiences allow users to connect, travel, and even earn a living despite the COVID-19 pandemic

You can book an experience via Airbnb’s Online Experience website. Simply browse an activity you want to take part in. From there, information such as the experience’s duration and price can be found. Activities range from a wine class, to family baking, to a meditation along with a monk, as well as tarot reading. All that is left now is to choose a date and time you are available.

There’s more: the company is also searching for people who can host, thus contribute, to the variety of virtual activities. To get started, all you need to do is proceed to their online hosts website. From here, you can design an experience, state your ideas, and submit it to Airbnb for approval.

What are you waiting for? It’s finally time to do something productive during the duration of the quarantine period. Learn something new, or perhaps share your knowledge as a host. Who knows? This may be your chance to unlock your hidden potentials.
