Antutu and other benchmark apps aren’t the best way to measure real world performance, but they still give you a good idea of how well a certain device performs against others. This is why the new Allwinner A80T octa-core processor from Antutu is so mind-blowing. Whereas the top flagship phones from mainstream brands score somewhere in the 35,000 to 39,000 range in Antutu, the new Allwinner A80T manages to score 48,000!

The Antutu results come from the Onda V989, an affordable tablet that’s yet to see a release. While it’s made by a budget brand, the performance is certainly far from entry-level. And the same should be said for any other device that might come with the Allwinner A80T. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing local tablets running with the A80T under the hood!

Wow, it blows Tegra K1 and Exynos 5433 out of the water then.
