The new DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro is out with a couple of impressive features to take on one of its biggest competitors.
With its sights on the new GoPro Hero13 Black, the DJI has introduced a couple of impressive features to the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro. For one, it now has a whopping 13.5-stop dynamic range for a well-balanced contrast and exposure on your action shots.

It also boasts a 1,950mAh battery that can last for up to 4 hours. It can also record up to 3. 6 hours under extreme weather conditions of up to -20° C and provide 2 hours of shooting with a quick 15-minute charge via DJI’s 30W USB-C charger.
It then uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor with a 2.4 μm pixel size that can record 4K@60fps videos in low-light. It also features a SuperNight mode with AI noise reduction for cleaner and clearer shots at night.

The Osmo Action 5 Pro utilizes machine-learning algorithms for the camera’s subject-centering and tracking. Plus, there’s a color temperature sensor that makes underwater shots look nicer with real-life colors. Speaking of which, it can be submerged up to 20m of water without a case.
What’s more, it can automatically start recording when submerged in water and then stop after surfacing. There’s also a built-in pressure gauge that can record underwater depth, altitude data, and duration.

It then has a large OLED touchscreen with 1000 nits of peak brightness and thinner bezels. It works with a DJI Mic 2 Transmitter via Bluetooth.
The camera has 47GB of storage, features a timecode to sync with multiple cameras, and has WiFi 6 with 80Mbps file transfers and support for WiFi livestreams. It also has USB-C 3.0 for wired transfers.

You can get the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro in the Philippines through DJI’s official Shopee store for a price of Php22,190 for the Standard Combo package, while the Adventure Combo with a bundled Osmo Action Multifunctional Battery case and three spare batteries retails for Php27,990.
