FUJIFILM just announced the new X-T5 and here’s how much it will cost in the Philippines.
Before revealing the price, let’s first see what the new FUJIFILM X-T5 offers. The most powerful X-T camera to date, this one comes with a 40-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor, paired with a new X-Processor 5 high-speed image processing engine with better autofocus performance.

This sensor is the same one used on the fancy X-H2. This is why the X-T5 also has Pixel Shift Multi-Shot feature that can shoot 160-megapixel composite images. Plus, it can do 19 of FUJIFILM’s popular Film Simulations.
It retains the retro-inspired design that people seem to love. Hence the dedicated physical dials for adjusting the shutter speed, ISO, and exposure compensation. It may look the same, but it is actually smaller and about 50g lighter than its predecessor, the X-T4.

For sharper images and better low-light performance, the X-T5 boasts a five-axis in-body image stabilization that is said can do up to seen stops of compensation.
Also onboard are Subject Detection AF and better algorithms for better autofocus performance. There’s also the impressive 1/180,000s max electronic shutter speed.

Not just for photographers, video shooters would appreciate the X-T5’s 6.2K@30p video recording. It also has support for 4:2:2 10-bit recording, oversampled 4K, and F-Log 2.
You can also use an Atmos HDMI external recorder to record 12-bit Apple ProRes RAW at 6.2k@30p. Blackmagic RAW recording is also available using a Blackmagic Design Video Assist 12Gs.
It also has a 3-way tiltable 3-inch touchscreen so you can shoot at any angle, a 0.5-inch OLED viewfinder with 3.69 million dots, a better battery life that can now shoot up to 740 images (from 600), a weather-resistant build, dual card slot that works with UHS-II, and an optional hand grip MHG-XT5 accessory.
Now, for the price. The FUJIFILM X-T5 body only has a retail price of Php109,990 in the Philippines. You can get the 18-55mm kit for Php134,990, while the 16-80mm kit has an SRP of Php141,990. It will be available soon in authorized stores across the Philippines.
