With a commitment to fulfill its humanitarian acts, CHERRY’s CSR arm Cherry Cares by MSN Foundation, Inc. has been continuously providing support to the academic sector, consequently seeing Quezon High School of Batuan, Bohol as a beneficiary of essential teaching materials.
Caught in a struggling transition to the hybrid teaching setup, the secondary high school has been in dire need of additional equipment aimed at meeting high volumes of modules in addition to other daily requirements—all for delivering high-quality learning to students. In light of this demand, Cherry Cares by MSN Foundation, Inc. donated five (5) printers and a projector with a manual pull-down screen.
With classes now being held in a “blended” setup, Quezon High School Principal Zenaida Vallente claims that the donation of the equipment came in a “very timely” fashion. Furthermore, she claims that, with the equipment, the teachers will be able to perform their tasks “a lot faster” and “more efficiently”.
In support of the back-to-school initiative, Cherry Cares by MSN Foundation, Inc. is also undertaking a leadership role in other education-oriented activities, such as the Be Cool in School program, which comes in partnership with the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP).
I love it when this happens. As for me, many companies could thus help schools or education systems in general, both technically and programmatically.
