Topping Cherry Mobile’s announcement of Windows devices is the new Cherry Mobile Alpha Morph. It offers a Windows 8.1 tablet experience for Php11,999.
Though superior to the 8-inch Cherry Mobile Alpha Play, the Cherry Mobile Alpha Morph is powered by the same Intel Atom Z3735D processor. It does, however, offer a larger display and bigger amount of RAM and internal storage.
Cherry Mobile Alpha Morph Specs
- Windows 8.1
- 10-inch IPS LCD (720×1280 HD), ~147ppi
- 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735D processor
- Intel HD Graphics
- 2GB RAM
- 32GB internal storage
- microSD support up to 64GB
- 2-megapixel BSI main camera, with autofocus and LED flash
- 2-megapixel front camera
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
- Bluetooth 2.0
- 8000mAh battery
Other specs of the Cherry Mobile Alpha Morph include a 2-megapixel rear camera with backside illumination, 2-megapixel front camera, and the usual connectivity options. The battery capacity is quite generous at 8000mAh, so we’re hoping the Alpha Morph can last for several hours before asking to be recharged. Like its smaller brother, the tablet also comes with a free subscription to Microsoft Office 365 and 1TB storage on OneDrive. There also seems to be a wireless keyboard included in the package.
Of the company’s four Windows-based devices, the Cherry Mobile Alpha Morph is the most expensive at Php11,999. But given the more powerful specs and features, that’s understandable. You’ll be able to meet the Alpha Morph in stores later this month.
