DJI has finally launched the successor to its FPV drone. Check out the new DJI Avata 2.
The new DJI Avata 2 comes with an improved 12-megapixel super wide-angle lens that uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor, which features better low-light performance and dynamic range. It can shoot HDR videos at up to 4K 60fps, 120fps slow motion at 2.7k, and uses a wide 155-degree lens.

It also boasts five additional degrees of gimbal stabilization. Plus, it now lasts longer up to 23 minutes of flight time, and supports PD fast charging.
It even has a Two-Way Charging Hub technology that transfers power from different batteries to the one with the highest charge level to instantly provide full charge so you can go up and fly again.

DJI has also improved the transmission distance by 3km, now at 13km. It also has a low latency of 24ms at 1080p 100fps with a max bitrate of 60mbps.
For better portability and improved power efficiency, the FPV drone is now 28g lighter than its predecessor, 16mm shorter, but is 32mm wider so it’s more stable while in the air.

The drone is paired with the new DJI Googles 3 which lets you see what the drone is seeing in real-time and can deliver live feed from the drone to the DJI Fly app and send it to another device up to 5m away.
You can even connect the Googles 3 to a different display, using wires, so others can see what you’re seeing.

DJI has put a built-in battery on the Googles 3, which lasts an hour longer and added GPS. It then has two 1080p micro-OLED screens with 700-nit brightness.
The drone has a built-in 46GB storage that can store up to 90-minute 1080p 60fps videos, which you can quickly send to your smartphone over WiFi.
The best part is, that the newer model is now cheaper. The DJI Avata 2 is listed in Facebook Marketplace by different physical stores in the Philippines for a price of Php47,900 for the Standard version and Php55,900 for the Combo, which comes with two extra batteries, one Two-Way Charging Hub, and a sling bag.
Meanwhile, the DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 retails for Php8,990 while the ND filters come in at Php3,420.
