Meralco subsidiary for green mobility eSakay has partnered with delivery service provider Mober to launch alternative delivery services nationwide that focus on sustainability.
With the new partnership, eSakay will provide a fleet of electric cargo vans to Mober for the latter’s same-day delivery services. These services are available to small-to-medium enterprises that need to transport goods but do not own delivery vehicles. They’re also available for individuals and consumers.
With a rated range of up to 220 kilometers on a single charge, the electric cargo vans can each transport goods with a max weight of 3,000 kilograms. These vehicles can move with a top speed of 90 km/h and reach 80 percent of battery charge in one hour using a DC fast charger.
The utilization of electric vehicles is the commitment of the two companies in supporting cleaner energy and promoting sustainable modes of transportation while retaining Mober’s ability to provide a timely, reliable service.
