No water? No problem. With Grab’s latest service called “Grab IGIB,” citizens of Marikina and parts of Quezon City can resolve their water dilemmas for the meantime.

Grab announced on Wednesday that Grab IGIB, which aims to help people affected by the water crisis, can be availed for free. Customers just need to pay for the ride to avail the service. The water and delivery charge is free.

The company also stated that customers could purchase the container for Php100. Only one container per booking is allowed as well. However, be informed the water is not potable, or safe for drinking.

If you want to take advantage of Grab IGIB, all you have to do is book Grab IGIB and enter the drop-off location. The service will be available from March 27 to 29, 4:00-9:00 p.m. until supplies last. Here are the areas where the Grab IGIB is available:

  • Escopa III
  • Escopa IV
  • Industrial Valley
  • Jesus de La Pena
  • Tanong
  • Santo Nino
  • Concepcion Dos
  • Nangka
  • Parang Marikina Heights

The company did not state if it will expand its Grab IGIB service, so we’ll stay tuned to update you regarding this matter.
