Huawei P10 and P10 Plus Android Oreo Update

Huawei has announced the official release of the Android 8.0 Oreo update for last year’s P-series.

In a Facebook post, Huawei Philippines has revealed that users of Huawei P10 and P10 Plus should begin receiving notifications about the software update starting today.

The company has not posted the changelog or any other details about the upgrade, though. Based on the comments section, a lot of P10 and P10 Plus users are still waiting for the update to be available.

It’s important to note that software updates like this (especially major ones) tend to roll out in multiple batches, so it’s understandable that you may or may not get it immediately.

If we were to check the beta changelog, we could safely say that the 8.0 Oreo update will come with highlights like the floating navigation dock, reimagined settings menu, and a new 30-day recycle bin for the contents of the Gallery app.

For those who own the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus, you can check if you can already download it by going to Settings -> System update.

Anybody here who already updated their phones to Android 8.0 Oreo? Let us know in the comments below.
