Storage devices have greatly improved in the last couple of years. They became faster, have higher capacities, and they are really portable. All of these three characteristics are projected on the new Integral Memory 512GB microSD card.
Yes, you heard it right, it’s a microSD card that has a whopping 512GB of storage capacity. This easily dethrones the SanDisk 400GB microSD card that was just released back in September last year.
However, SanDisk’s bet is still faster with its speeds of up to 100MBps, as Integral Memory’s only ticks at 60MBps at its fastest.
But still, the Integral Memory 512GB microSD card is SDXC UHS-1 U1 classified, which means its speed wouldn’t go below the 10MBps mark. The card also passed the Video Speed Class 10 (V10) standard, so rest assured that it effectively record Full HD videos from your smartphone, drone, action camera, and what not.
And for the cherry on top, the card will also come with a 5-year warranty which means that the company is confident that it’ll last for a long time.
The official price is yet to be announced but it is expected to hit the market by next month, February 2018.
