Lenovo has come up with some of the most interesting prototypes and concepts over the years, and in this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC), the tech giant has showcased another futuristic product.

At their MWC 2024 booth, the company demoed the Lenovo ThinkBook Transparent Display laptop that features a large 17.3-inch see-through screen. It uses microLED technology that has no bezels and offers 55 percent transparency.

The bottom part is also made of glass, so it can be used as a keyboard or a sketch pad for artists.

Speaking of artists, Lenovo sees such form-factor useful for digital artists, allowing them to create digital art with real-like elements on the frame. This particular product won’t be available in the market very soon, but its essence should be seen on a Lenovo product in the future.

Lenovo has also showcased PCs that utilize AI to perform tasks such as problem-solving, reasoning, and learning. Such machines will also sport more powerful processing and have larger storage so large language models (LLMs) can run within the machine and not to the cloud.

Lenovo has also unveiled numerous next-generation infrastructure solutions for the telco industry so they can harness large amounts of data at the far edge for revolutionary AI applications, all while making cloud services energy efficient.

Lenovo also revealed that they’re investing USD1 billion to create more AI-related innovations.
